Biography

Allison Joy Courtenay, Countess of Devon, known professionally as A.J. Langer, was born on May 22, 1974. She is an American actress recognized for her roles as Rayanne Graff in the television series My So-Called Life and Caroline Larkin in Baywatch. Langer began her career with guest appearances on shows such as The Wonder Years and gained prominence with her role in Drexell's Class. She has also appeared in films including Escape from L.A. and The People Under the Stairs. After a hiatus, she returned to television in 2011 with a recurring role in Private Practice. Langer married Charles Courtenay, 19th Earl of Devon, in 2004, and they have two children. She is involved in raising awareness for fibromyalgia, a condition she personally experiences. In November 2023, she and her husband announced their separation.
