Biography
Agathe Bonitzer is a French actress who began her film career as a child in 1996 with a role in Raoul Ruiz's "Trois vies et une seule mort." She gained recognition for her performances alongside notable actors such as Daniel Auteuil, Jean-Pierre Bacri, and Édouard Baer. Her first significant role came in 2008 when her father cast her in "Le Grand Alibi." She was subsequently noticed by director Christophe Honoré, who cast her opposite Louis Garrel in "La Belle Personne," a modern adaptation of "La Princesse de Clèves," which helped establish her public profile. In 2009, Bonitzer played a supporting role in "Un chat un chat," portraying a high school student eager to connect with an uninspired writer, and was selected by Jacques Doillon for "Le Mariage à trois," a Chekhovian chamber piece. For her role in "Une bouteille à la mer," she learned basic Hebrew from author Valérie Zenatti.
