Ibiagbanidokibubo 'Agbani' Asenite Darego, born on December 22, 1982, is a Nigerian model renowned for being the first black African to win the Miss World title in 2001. Following her reign, she left the University of Port Harcourt in 2002 to focus on her modeling career. Darego is represented by Next Model Management and has worked internationally, particularly in Europe. She has collaborated with prominent brands, including L'Oréal cosmetics, establishing herself as a notable figure in the fashion industry. Standing at 180 cm (5' 11"), Darego continues to be recognized for her contributions to modeling and her trailblazing role in beauty pageantry.
