Akshay Kumar, born Rajiv Bhatia in Amritsar, India, is a prominent actor and producer known for his work in Hindi cinema. Raised in Delhi, he completed his schooling at Don Bosco School and attended Guru Nanak Khalsa College before pursuing martial arts training in Bangkok, where he also worked as a chef. Kumar began his career in modeling and made his film debut with "Saugandh" in 1991, later gaining fame for his roles in successful films such as "Khiladi," "Mohra," and "Ye Dillagi." He has showcased versatility in various genres, excelling in action, comedy, and serious roles, including "Hera Pheri," "Welcome," and "Special 26." Akshay Kumar is married to actress Twinkle Khanna, who is also an interior designer. He continues to be a significant figure in the Indian film industry, with upcoming projects including the film "Brothers."
