Biography

Alessandro Terrin is a male Italian swimmer who competed for Italy at the 2008 Olympic Games in the 100 m breaststroke and the 4×100 m medley relay events. He is particularly known for his performance in the 50 m breaststroke, where he achieved significant success, including winning several medals. Terrin became the European champion in this event at the 2006 European Long Course Championships in Budapest, competing alongside Oleg Lisogor. Additionally, he earned a silver medal at the 2006 Short Course World Championships in Shanghai. At the 2008 European Short Course Championships in Rijeka, he was part of the Italian team that won a gold medal in the 4×50 m medley relay, setting a new European record and achieving the world's best performance at that time.
