Biography

Alexandra Dahlström is a Swedish actress born in Gävle, Sweden, and raised in Stockholm. She has a mixed heritage, with a Russian mother and a Swedish father, and is fluent in both languages. Dahlström gained prominence in 1998 for her role as Elin in the film Fucking Åmål, earning the Guldbagge Award for Best Actress alongside Rebecka Liljeberg. She chose to focus on her education rather than pursue immediate acting opportunities following her breakthrough. In 2002, she served as assistant director for Lukas Moodysson's film Lilja 4-ever. Dahlström has expressed a desire to explore diverse career paths, mentioning interests in both music and darker themes.
