Aliza Gur
Biography
Aliza Gur, born Alizia Gross on April 1, 1944, in Ramat Gan, Israel, is a former beauty queen and actress. She was crowned Miss Israel in 1960 and achieved recognition as a semi-finalist in the Miss Universe pageant that same year. Gur's parents fled Germany during World War II and settled in Mandatory Palestine, where she was raised. Later, she moved to the United States, where she began her career in film and television. Gur's notable television appearances include roles in series such as The Big Valley, Perry Mason, and Get Smart. In cinema, she is best known for her role as one of the Gypsies in the James Bond film From Russia with Love (1963). Gur has been married twice and currently resides in Hollywood.
