Amanda Byram

Biography

Amanda Byram, born on 16 June 1973, is an Irish television presenter from Castleknock, Dublin. She gained prominence as the host of the British game show Total Wipeout. Byram began her television career in the UK, first appearing as a host on The Big Breakfast in 2001 and later as a guest host on Liquid News in 2002. She also presented the UK edition of Entertainment Tonight on Sky One. After relocating to Los Angeles, she took on various presenting roles, including the reality series Paradise Hotel in 2003 and 2008. In 2007, Byram co-hosted the Game Show Network program Grand Slam. She hosted the Miss World pageant in 2003 and made a brief appearance in the 2006 film A Dog's Breakfast. Additionally, she presented selected episodes of Strictly Come Dancing Live! in 2011 and appeared in the music video for Joe Dolan's song "Good Looking Woman" in 1997.
