Amy Bailey

Biography

Amy Bailey, born on 24 October 1975, is a dual citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom. She began her artistic journey as a dancer, training with the Houston Ballet and performing with the Joffrey Ballet and London Ballet Theatre during her teenage years. As a professional ballerina, she also trained with Cirque du Soleil and worked as an acrobat and aerialist for six years. Transitioning to acting, Bailey has received acclaim for her performances in West End musicals, including The Producers and Guys & Dolls, and has been nominated for Off West End Awards. Her film and television credits include roles in Nine, Alice In Wonderland, and the series Vikings, where she portrayed Kwenthrith. Additionally, she stars as Joanna in the series The Chosen and is involved in the comedy improvisation scene. Bailey is also noted for her collaborations in fashion and writing projects.
