Biography

Ana Girardot, born on 1 August 1988 in Paris, France, is a French actress recognized for her role as Lucy in the television series The Returned. She comes from a family of artists; her father, Hippolyte Girardot, and mother, Isabel Otero, are both actors, while her grandparents, Antonio Otero and Clotilde Vautier, were painters. Despite her father's initial disapproval of her career choice, Girardot pursued acting and studied theatre in New York for two years. She began her career with secondary roles in television and film before achieving a leading role in the film Lights Out, which was showcased at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. Girardot continues to be active in the French entertainment industry.
