Biography
Anaïs Aude Marie Michèle Demoustier, born on 29 September 1987, is a French actress recognized for her contributions to European cinema. She was named one of the Shooting Stars by European Film Promotion and featured as one of the 55 faces of the future in Nylon Magazine's Young Hollywood Issue in 2010. Demoustier received nominations for Most Promising Actress at the César Awards for her roles in Les Grandes Personnes (2009) and Living on Love Alone (2011). In 2020, she won the César for Best Actress for her performance in Alice and the Mayor. In April 2023, she was appointed as the president of the Caméra d'Or Jury at the Cannes Film Festival. She has a daughter, born in March 2016, with her partner Jérémie Elkaïm, who is also her co-star in Marguerite & Julien. Her brother, Stéphane Demoustier, is a filmmaker and screenwriter.
