Ananda Matthew Everingham, born on 31 May 1982 in Thailand, is a Laotian-Australian film actor known for his work primarily in Thai cinema. He gained significant recognition for his lead role in the 2004 horror film "Shutter." Everingham attended Bangkok Patana School and holds Australian citizenship, spending part of his childhood in Brisbane with his grandparents. He began his acting career at age 14 after being discovered while working in his family's restaurant. Ananda transitioned from traditional schooling to a flexible tutoring program to accommodate his burgeoning film career. His notable works include the horror-comedy "Ghost Delivery," the teen-slasher "303 Fear Faith Revenge," and the Singaporean romance "The Leap Years." He has also appeared in films such as "Me ... Myself," "Bangkok Time," and "Queen of Langkasuka." In 2008, he starred in "Sabaidee Luang Prabang," marking a significant moment in Laotian cinema.
