Biography

Annette Strøyberg was born on 7 December 1936 on Funen Island, Denmark. She gained recognition in 1958 for her role in the film Les bijoutiers du clair de lune, directed by Roger Vadim and featuring Gérard Philipe and Jeanne Moreau. During the production, she began a relationship with Vadim, who had recently divorced actress Brigitte Bardot. The couple married on 17 June 1958 and welcomed a daughter, Nathalie Vadim, who would also pursue an acting career. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 1960, following the film's lack of critical success. Annette Strøyberg passed away from cancer in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 12 December 2005.
