Biography
Antonella Lualdi, born Antonietta de Pascale on 6 July 1931 in Beirut, Lebanon, is an Italian actress and singer renowned for her contributions to Italian and French cinema during the 1950s and 1960s. She gained prominence with her role in Claude Autant-Lara's film "The Red and the Black" (1954), alongside Gérard Philipe. Lualdi began her career in 1949 after winning a talent contest organized by the cinema magazine Hollywood. She later married Italian actor Franco Interlenghi in 1955, with whom she had two daughters, Stella and Antonellina, both of whom pursued acting. In 1974, she ventured into music, achieving success and critical acclaim in France. Lualdi returned to the stage with the comedy "Le Moulin de la Gallette," touring Europe. She has appeared in numerous films and television series throughout her career, solidifying her status as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
