Ariel Lin (Chinese: 林依晨; pinyin: Lín Yī Chén) was born on 29 October 1982 in Taipei, Taiwan. She is a prominent Taiwanese actress and singer, recognized for her contributions to Mandopop music and television. Lin gained fame in the mid-2000s, particularly for her role as Yuan Xiangqin in the popular drama "It Started With a Kiss." She has received multiple awards, including Best Leading Actress at the Golden Bell Awards for her performances in "They Kiss Again" and "In Time with You." Lin studied Korean and Literature at National Chengchi University and holds a Master of Arts in Acting for Screen from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London. In addition to her acting career, she has released several music albums, with her debut album "Blissful Encounter" released in 2009. Lin is married and continues to be active in her career.
