Arsenio Hall (born February 12, 1955) is an American actor, comedian, and former talk show host. He gained widespread recognition for his influential late-night talk show, The Arsenio Hall Show, which aired from 1989 to 1994 and was notable for its diverse guest lineup and energetic format. Hall also starred in the films Coming to America and Harlem Nights, further establishing his career in entertainment. In addition to his talk show, he appeared as a sidekick to Alan Thicke on the talk show Thicke of the Night. Throughout his career, Hall has been celebrated for his contributions to comedy and television, influencing a generation of entertainers.
