Biography

Aure Atika, born on July 12, 1970, is a French actress, writer, and director. She was born in Portugal to a Moroccan mother and a French father and was raised in Paris. Atika is the daughter of film actors and directors Ode Atika Bitton and Michel Fournier. She gained recognition for her work in film, winning the Best French-Language Short Film Award at the 2004 Créteil International Women's Film Festival for her short film À quoi ça sert de voter écolo? and receiving a nomination for the César Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2010 for her role in Mademoiselle Chambon. Atika has one daughter, Angelica, born in February 2002, with her partner Philippe Zdar, a member of the house music group Cassius.
