Bahar Soomekh

Biography

Bahar Soomekh was born on March 30, 1975, in Tehran, Iran, into a Persian Jewish family. In 1979, at the age of four, she relocated with her parents and sister, Saba Soomekh, to Los Angeles, United States, to escape the Iranian revolution. She attended Sinai Akiba Academy and Beverly Hills High School, where she participated in the school orchestra as a violinist. Soomekh pursued higher education in environmental studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. After starting her career in a corporate job, she took acting classes in the evenings and eventually decided to focus on acting full-time. As of now, she is married and resides in the United States.
