Biography

Barbara Anderson is an American actress, best known for her role as Officer Eve Whitfield in the television series Ironside and for her appearances as secret agent Mimi Davis in the final season of Mission: Impossible. Born in New York City, she later moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where she won the title of Miss Memphis in 1963. Anderson relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career, making her television debut in a first-season episode of Star Trek in 1966. She became one of the original cast members of Ironside in 1967, earning an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance. After leaving Ironside in 1971, she took on guest roles in various TV series and made-for-TV movies, with her last appearance in the 1993 TV movie Return of Ironside, reprising her role as Eve Whitfield. Anderson has been married to Don Burnett since 1971.
