Belinda Lee
Biography
Belinda Lee, born on June 15, 1935, in Devon, England, was a British actress known for her striking beauty and talent. She attended Rookesbury Park Prep School and St. Margaret's boarding school before studying dramatics at the Tudor Arts Academy and receiving a scholarship to London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Lee made her stage debut in "Point of Departure" and was soon noticed by director Val Guest, who helped her secure a contract with Rank Studios. Lee's film career began with "The Runaway Bus" (1954) and included roles in "Who Done It?" (1956) and "Miracle in Soho" (1957). Despite her rising fame, she struggled with being typecast and sought more diverse roles. Tragically, her life was cut short in 1961 at the age of 25 in a car accident while traveling to Los Angeles. Her ashes were interred in Rome's Campo Cestio Cemetery.
