Boys Like Girls is an American rock band formed in 2005 in Massachusetts. The group gained mainstream recognition with their self-titled debut album, released on August 22, 2006. Although initial sales were modest, the album eventually peaked at #55 on the Billboard 200 chart, aided by the success of the single "The Great Escape," which reached the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 and led to the album being certified Gold in 2008. Their second album, "Love Drunk," released on September 8, 2009, debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200 and included successful singles such as "Two Is Better Than One," featuring Taylor Swift. In 2012, the band announced plans for a new album titled "Crazy World," with several song titles leaked but not confirmed. Boys Like Girls has released two studio albums, one live album, one extended play, and five singles.
