Brenda Bakke

Biography

Brenda Jean Bakke, born on May 15, 1963, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, is an American actress recognized for her work in film and television, particularly during the 1990s. She began her acting career at age 15 in a Portland stage production and later moved to Los Angeles to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Bakke made her screen debut in the 1986 film Hardbodies 2 and gained prominence for her roles in Hot Shots! Part Deux, Gunmen, Demon Knight, and Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. She portrayed Lana Turner in the 1997 film L.A. Confidential. Bakke was also a regular on the CBS series American Gothic and later appeared in the Fox drama Ryan Caulfield: Year One. In the 2000s, she continued to act in films and made guest appearances on several popular TV shows, including CSI and Supernatural. In 2015, she joined the cast of the Oprah Winfrey Network series If Loving You Is Wrong.
