Brooke Baldwin

Biography

Brooke Baldwin is an American news anchor, born on July 12, 1979, in Raleigh, North Carolina. She hosts CNN Newsroom from 2 PM to 4 PM ET. Baldwin graduated with a double bachelor's degree in journalism and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and studied at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Her career began at WVIR-TV in Charlottesville, Virginia, followed by a role as the morning anchor at WOWK-TV in West Virginia and a lead reporter position at WTTG in Washington, D.C. Baldwin joined CNN and HLN in 2008, initially contributing to Rick's List and later taking over the 10 PM time slot. She is known for her #MusicMonday segment, profiling various musicians. Baldwin has also hosted special events, including CNN's coverage of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee and a music program featuring notable artists. She is currently married.
