Bruno S.
Biography
Bruno S., born in Germany, is known for his tumultuous upbringing and subsequent career in the arts. The unwanted son of a prostitute, he faced severe abuse in childhood, resulting in temporary deafness at the age of three. Despite these challenges, he became a self-taught painter and musician, alongside working in factories. His life took a significant turn when director Werner Herzog discovered him in the documentary "Bruno der Schwarze - Es blies ein Jäger wohl in sein Horn" (1970). Herzog cast him in prominent roles in "The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser" (1974) and "Stroszek" (1977).
