Carmen Di Pietro, born Carmela Tonto on May 24, 1965, in Potenza, Italy, is a well-known Italian showgirl, actress, and television presenter. She grew up in Salerno and graduated from Istituto Magistrale Regina Margherita in 1983. Di Pietro gained fame in the early 1990s through her television appearances with Gianni Ippoliti and has since established a successful career in entertainment. She has participated in numerous television programs, including reality shows like L'isola dei famosi and Big Brother VIP. Di Pietro married journalist Sandro Paternostro in 1998, which attracted significant media attention due to their age difference. After Paternostro's passing in 2000, she went on to have two children with her partner Giuseppe Iannoni. In addition to her television work, she has acted in films and theater and has created charity projects, including a calendar featuring her work.
