Biography

Cassandra Jean Amell (née Whitehead; born October 5, 1985) is an American actress, model, and beauty pageant contestant from Houston, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and began her pageantry career competing in the Miss Texas Teen USA pageant from 2002 to 2004, where she was a semifinalist in both years and held the title of Miss Houston Teen USA in 2003. In 2004, she won Miss Corpus Christi and later competed in Miss Texas USA 2005. Jean appeared on America's Next Top Model and has had guest roles on various television shows, including One Tree Hill and Mad Men. She played Nora Fries in the 2018 Arrowverse crossover event. Jean married actor Stephen Amell on December 25, 2012, and they have two children, Mavi and Bowen.
