Biography
Daniel John "D.J." Caruso, born on January 17, 1965, is an American director and producer known for his work in film and television. He gained recognition for directing films such as Disturbia, Two for the Money, Taking Lives, The Salton Sea, Eagle Eye, and I Am Number Four. Caruso's directorial debut was The Salton Sea, released in 2002. His 2007 film Disturbia became a significant box office success, grossing over $117 million. He has also directed episodes of notable television series including The Shield, Smallville, and Dark Angel. Caruso directed music videos, including "No Me Hagas Esperar" in 2007 and "Around Midnight" for Airborne Toxic Event in 2009. He is currently involved in projects such as the film adaptation of Y: The Last Man and has been associated with a film based on the video game Dead Space.
