Biography

Daniella Cicarelli is a former television hostess for MTV Brasil and a fashion model. She gained significant media attention in 2005 when she was engaged to Brazilian footballer Ronaldo, a relationship that lasted three months. Cicarelli became the subject of controversy in September 2006 when a private video of her and her boyfriend on a beach in Tarifa, Spain, was filmed by a paparazzo and subsequently broadcast on Spanish television. This led to widespread dissemination of the video online, prompting Cicarelli to seek legal injunctions against platforms like YouTube, resulting in temporary blocks of the site in Brazil. In 2007, a legal ruling favored YouTube, citing a lack of privacy on a public beach. However, in 2008, a São Paulo court reversed this decision, recognizing an invasion of privacy, with ongoing legal proceedings related to the case.
