Raised in Orange County by a single mother, she was homeschooled to accommodate her burgeoning career in entertainment. Perkins began her journey online at age 11 with her sister, launching a fashion and restaurant review website, WzTheBuzz, which became a business by 2011. She gained popularity on platforms like TikTok, amassing over 1.8 million followers, and her YouTube channel has more than 800,000 subscribers.

Perkins pursued acting in her early teens, debuting in the short film Senior Slasher in 2014. She became known for her roles in Nickelodeon series, including Legendary Dudas and Knight Squad, and lent her voice to characters in various shows.
