Denyce Lawton, born on May 2, 1978, in Seoul, South Korea, is an American actress and model of South Korean and African American descent. She is recognized for her recurring role as Dana Carter in Tyler Perry's House of Payne from 2008 to 2009 and as Sheila Willis in The Hot Zone, which aired in 2021. Lawton is the middle child in a family of three siblings and completed her education at Largo High School in Largo, Maryland. Currently residing in the United States, she is married.
