Biography

Diane Franklin is an American actress known for her distinctive curly hairstyle and versatile performances in film and television. She began her career in the early 1980s, initially appearing in commercials for brands such as Coca-Cola and Jell-O. Franklin gained recognition for her role as Karen in the 1982 film The Last American Virgin and is perhaps best known for her portrayal of one of the Princesses in the Bill and Ted films. Her notable film credits also include Patricia Montelli in the horror film Amityville II: The Possession and Monique, the foreign exchange student, in the comedy Better Off Dead. In addition to her film work, Franklin has appeared in television series such as Bay City Blues and Matlock. Throughout her career, she has taken several breaks, with her acting spanning from 1982 to the present, including a notable return in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
