Biography

Dolores Moran was an American actress and model known for her work in the film industry during the 1940s. Discovered by a Warner Brothers talent scout at an Elks Lodge picnic, she gained popularity as a pin-up during World War II, frequently appearing on magazine covers. Moran featured in several films, including notable roles in "Old Acquaintance" (1943), "To Have and Have Not" (1944), and "The Horn Blows at Midnight" (1945). In 1947, she began a professional relationship with producer Benedict Bogeaus, whom she married in 1952. Her film career declined after their marriage, with her last credited appearance in "Silver Lode" (1954). The couple had one son but divorced in the early 1960s. Moran's life came to an end in 1982 at the age of 56.
