Dwight D. Eisenhower was a prominent American military and political leader, born on October 14, 1890, in Denison, Texas. He served as a five-star general in the United States Army during World War II, where he played a key role as Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Forces in Europe. Following the war, Eisenhower transitioned to a political career, becoming the 34th President of the United States, serving from 1953 to 1961. His presidency was marked by significant events such as the Cold War, the establishment of the Interstate Highway System, and the implementation of policies promoting economic prosperity. Eisenhower was married to Mamie Doud, and they had two sons. He passed away on March 28, 1969, leaving a lasting legacy in both military and political spheres.
