Eihi Shiina

Biography

Eihi Shiina is a fashion model and actress from Fukuoka, Japan. She gained significant recognition in 1995 when she worked for Benetton and subsequently represented Japan at the global Elite Model Look '95 competition. Following this, she appeared in various magazine campaigns. Shiina made her film debut in 1999 with the movie Dog-Food and published a book of photographs and poems titled No Filter, Only Eyes in the same year. She is internationally acclaimed for her role as Asami Yamazaki in Takashi Miike's horror film Audition and also starred as Ruka in Tokyo Gore Police. Throughout her career, Shiina has been noted for her contributions to both modeling and film, establishing herself as a prominent figure in the Japanese entertainment industry.
