Electra Avellan

Biography

Electra Avellan, born on August 12, 1986, in Venezuela, is a Venezuelan actress residing in the United States. She is best known for her performances alongside her identical twin sister, Elise Avellan, as the "Crazy Babysitter Twins" in the 2007 film Grindhouse. The twins also portrayed Nurses "Mona and Lisa" in the 2010 film Machete, a role they reprised in the 2013 sequel, Machete Kills. Electra and Elise are nieces of filmmaker Robert Rodriguez and his former wife, Elizabeth Avellan. The twins gained additional recognition by appearing together in the April 2007 issue of Maxim En Espanol. Standing at 165 cm (5' 5"), Electra continues to be involved in the entertainment industry.
