Biography

Elisa Meneghini, born on July 24, 1997, in Como, Italy, is a prominent artistic gymnast known for her contributions to the sport. She is a member of the Italian national women's artistic gymnastics team and achieved significant success in 2014, becoming the Italian champion in all-around, floor exercise, and balance beam. Meneghini gained international recognition as a junior athlete, winning a silver medal in the junior team competition at the 2012 European Championships. She represented Italy at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Notably, she is the first Italian gymnast to perform a full twisting back layout on the balance beam, demonstrating her skill and innovation in the sport.
