Biography

Elisa Tovati, born on 23 March 1976 in Paris, France, is a French actress and singer. She is the daughter of a French Jewish father of Moroccan descent and a Jewish mother of Russian-Polish origin. Tovati developed an interest in acting at a young age and pursued drama classes at Cours Florent and Studio Pygmalion from 1991 until 2000. She released her debut album in 2002, gaining significant recognition with her second album four years later. On 14 June 2006, she married Sébastien Saussez, the then-director general of Mercury Records. The couple has two children: Joseph, born in January 2009, and Léo, born on 1 March 2012. Tovati continues to reside in France, where she balances her career in music and acting.
