Emma Slater

Biography

Emma Slater, born on December 25, 1988, in the United Kingdom, is a professional dancer and choreographer currently residing in the United States. She began her performing career at the age of 16, excelling in Ballroom and Latin dance, and became the United Kingdom Latin American Champion and British Latin American Champion. Slater gained recognition for her role as 'Sophie’s Friend' in the film "Mamma Mia!" and participated in the ITV series "Popstar to Operastar." Her choreography for Usher's performance at the American Billboard Awards and her work in "Burn the Floor" on Broadway are notable highlights of her career. Slater has also toured internationally and appeared in various stage productions, including "Dirty Dancing" and "Cheek to Cheek." Recently, she joined the cast of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" as a member of the Troupe and has performed in the live show in Las Vegas.
