Escape the Fate is an American post-hardcore band formed in 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The group initially featured vocalist Ronnie Radke, bassist Max Green, drummer Robert Ortiz, lead guitarist Monte Money, and rhythm guitarist Omar Espinosa. They gained recognition after winning a local radio contest judged by My Chemical Romance, leading to a record deal with Epitaph Records. Their debut EP, "There's No Sympathy for the Dead," was released in 2006, followed by their first full-length album, "Dying Is Your Latest Fashion," later that year. After Radke's departure in 2008 due to legal issues, Craig Mabbitt joined as the new vocalist. The band's subsequent albums include "This War Is Ours" (2008) and their self-titled album in 2010, marking their first release under DGC/Interscope Records. Escape the Fate has participated in various tours and festivals, further establishing their presence in the post-hardcore scene.
