Fala Chen

Biography

Fala Chen (simplified Chinese: 陈法拉; traditional Chinese: 陳法拉; pinyin: Chén Fǎlā) is a Chinese-American beauty pageant titleholder born on 24 February 1982 in Chengdu, People's Republic of China. She moved to the United States at the age of 15 in 1997. Chen gained recognition in the beauty pageant circuit, holding the titles of Miss Asian America 2002 and Miss NY Chinese 2004. She was also a runner-up in Miss Chinatown USA 2003 and Miss Chinese International 2005. Chen attended Emory University in Georgia, where she majored in Marketing and International Business and minored in Japanese. She graduated from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University with a BBA degree in May 2005. Chen's participation in beauty pageants began during her first year of college, marking the start of her involvement in the industry.
