Faye Smythe (born 25 November 1985) is a South African-born television actor based in New Zealand, recognized primarily for her role as Nurse Tania Jeffries on the popular soap opera Shortland Street. Born in Cape Town, Smythe emigrated to New Zealand with her family at the age of eleven. She is of mixed race ancestry and stands at 173 cm (5' 8"). Smythe is married. Over the years, she has gained a significant following for her performances and contributions to the New Zealand entertainment industry.
