Biography

George Harris is a Caribbean-born actor, originally from Grenada, who has had a diverse and successful career in performing arts. He received part of his education in Barbados before relocating to the United Kingdom at the age of 15. Harris has also lived in Sweden and Israel, where he performed with his band across Europe and the United States. Transitioning to dramatic acting, he has appeared in numerous theatre productions at prestigious venues such as the National Theatre, Royal Court Theatre, and West End theatres, including the Royal Exchange in Manchester and Theatre Royal Bath. Notably, he was directed by Harold Pinter at Lincoln Center in New York City. His extensive work includes roles in musicals like Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Cricket. Recognized by BBC Black Legends, Harris serves as an inspiration for contemporary performers. He resides in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, England.
