Biography

Giorgia Moll, born on 14 January 1938 in Italy, is a former actress and singer known for her work in Italian cinema during the 1950s and 1960s. Standing 173 cm tall, she was discovered at the age of seventeen and made her film debut in Non scherzare con le donne (1955). Moll is recognized for her notable roles as Phuong, the love interest of Audie Murphy in Joseph L. Mankiewicz's The Quiet American (1958), and as Francesca Vanini in Jean-Luc Godard's Contempt (1963). In addition to her acting career, she enjoyed popularity as a singer. After 1970, her appearances in film became infrequent, and she officially retired from acting in 1985. In her later years, Moll pursued photography as a new artistic endeavor. She continues to reside in Italy.
