Glen Powell

Biography

Glen Thomas Powell Jr. (born October 21, 1988) is an American actor known for his diverse roles in film and television. He began his career with minor roles in projects such as Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003) and Fast Food Nation (2006). Powell gained recognition for his performances in The Expendables 3 (2014), the comedy-horror series Scream Queens (2015–2016), and the teen comedy Everybody Wants Some!! (2016). He portrayed astronaut John Glenn in Hidden Figures (2016) and aviator Tom Hudner in Devotion (2022). His breakout role came in Top Gun: Maverick (2022), followed by a lead role in the romantic comedy Anyone but You (2023). In addition to acting, Powell co-wrote and produced the dark comedy Hit Man (2023), earning a Golden Globe Award nomination for his performance. He is also set to appear in the disaster film Twisters (2024).
