Haji
Biography
Haji, born Barbarella Catton in Quebec City, Quebec, on January 24, 1946, was a Canadian actress best known for her role in Russ Meyer's cult classic Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965). At 18, she adopted the stage name Haji and began her career as an exotic dancer, which led to her casting in Meyer's films. She made her film debut in Motorpsycho! (1965) before gaining fame in Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, where she portrayed one of three go-go dancers who become avenging furies. Haji continued to work with Meyer, appearing in films such as Good Morning... and Goodbye! (1967), Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970), and Supervixens (1975). She passed away on August 10, 2013, at the age of 67.
