Hal Sparks, born Hal Harry Magee Sparks III on September 25, 1969, in Cincinnati, Ohio, is an American actor and director. He gained prominence for his role as Michael Novotny in the television series "Queer as Folk" (2000). Sparks also appeared in the film "Spider-Man 2" (2004) and is recognized for creating the hand gesture associated with his character Zoltan in the comedy "Dude, Where's My Car?" (2000). Throughout his career, he has contributed to various television shows, films, and stand-up comedy performances, establishing himself as a versatile entertainer in the industry.
