Biography

Havana Brown, born Angelique Meunier on 14 February 1985 in Australia, is a prominent DJ, singer, and dancer. She began her career in 2008 after signing with Island Records Australia, where she released the Crave compilation album series featuring remixes of various artists. This opportunity led her to tour with notable international acts such as Britney Spears, Rihanna, and Chris Brown. In 2011, Brown achieved significant success with her debut single "We Run the Night," which peaked at number five on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart and received triple platinum certification from ARIA. The single garnered two ARIA Music Award nominations for Breakthrough Artist Single and Highest Selling Single. Subsequently, she signed a US record deal with Universal Republic, resulting in a new version of "We Run the Night" featuring Pitbull, which topped the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart and reached number 49 on the Billboard Hot 100.
