Biography

Holt McCallany is an accomplished actor hailing from a family with a rich theatrical background, including his mother, singer/actress Julie Wilson, and father, Tony Award-winning actor Michael McAloney. He began his education in Dublin before relocating to New York City. At the age of 14, he pursued acting in Los Angeles, though he was later sent to boarding school in Ireland. McCallany continued his education in France, studying French at the Sorbonne and theater at various prestigious institutions. He returned to New York City to launch his acting career. McCallany is known for his role in the FX series "El declive de Patrick Leary" (2011) and has appeared in films such as "El club de la lucha" (1999) and "Los perdedores" (2010). His television credits include roles in "CSI: Miami" and "Mentes criminales." He has also performed in various stage productions.
