Ivan Perisic

Biography

Ivan Perišić is a Croatian professional footballer born on 2 February 1989. He currently plays for Italian club Inter, primarily as a winger, but is also capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or second striker. Perišić began his career in the youth academy of Hajduk Split and gained prominence at Club Brugge, where he was the top goalscorer in the Belgian Pro League and named Belgian Footballer of the Year in 2011. He transferred to Borussia Dortmund, winning the Bundesliga title in the 2011–12 season, before moving to VfL Wolfsburg in January 2013, where he won the DFB-Pokal in 2015. Perišić joined Inter for €20 million. He made his debut for the Croatia national team in 2011 and has represented his country at UEFA Euro 2012 and the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
