Biography
Jake Lloyd is an American former actor best known for his portrayal of young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, released in 1999. This role, directed by George Lucas, marked Lloyd's rise to worldwide fame as it was the first film in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. In addition to his performance in the film, he reprised the character in five subsequent Star Wars video games. Lloyd's work in the franchise has left a lasting impact on the Star Wars legacy, although he transitioned away from acting after his role in the series.
